The 25th Destination: Greece
Greece, introduced in 1996, is one of my personal favorites. I have had the spanakopita before and LOVED it. So, this time we decided to try something very new and interesting.
Griddled Greek Cheese with Pistachios & Honey
When I first saw this on the menu, I though, "alright, this is going to be quite interesting..." Then I saw it and thought "well, it looks good enough..." Then I tried it and my life is forever changed. Who would think that cheese covered in pistachios and honey would be SO good?!?! I do admit that I was slightly nervous about trying this, but when I did, I fell in love. This is one of my top dishes, I must say. The saltiness of the cheese blends perfectly with the sweet honey to create the most perfect flavor for your palate. Mmmm. I really want some of this right now...
