Glow Stick Pool Party

We had a VERY dry June and July this year. It was really disappointing on July 4th celebrating Independence Day and not being able to shoot off fireworks. We have done that every year for as long as I can remember!

This year, instead of doing fireworks after our cookout, we got creative.

We had a glow stick pool party.

We filled up a bunch of balloons with glow sticks, and then just threw some glow sticks into the pool. We even decorated ourselves with glow sticks! Then we turned all the lights off and swam to the light of our glowing balloons. It was awesome! Definitely doing this one again.
