Day one of the cruise!!
We got to 'sleep in' a little bit today (we've been getting up at 5 and we were able to sleep until 8 today! Haha). We did our quick last-minute packing and then loaded up the car. Port Canaveral is only about an hour away from Disney World, so it didn't take us too long to get there.
We got there and got allllll our things unloaded. Check-in was fairly easy for us because Mommy and Daddy were staying on the concierge level, and concierge level people get quicker service. The lady was really kind and checked the rest of us in as well and we were all able to board the ship first (when concierge level gets to).
We walked around the ship a little bit and ate lunch at Cabanas. When the rooms were ready, we took our carry on items and dropped them off. Our luggage would be delivered to us later.
The boys were loving it. We are really excited about this whole week! It's going to be amazing.

This is the ship before all the silly kids are on and running wild!
After the mandatory boat drill, we went up to the 11th/12th deck to find a good place to view the Sail Away party. That is also always the same, but it is really cute. It was super fun seeing the boys get into everything since they've never been on a cruise before.

Mommy, Allie, and Lacie at the Sail Away party!
We went back to the room and changed for dinner. We have 2nd dinner, so we went to the show first. The show tonight was called "Fantasy Come True" and it basically showed you everything to do on the ship. It was a musical (loaded with Disney songs of course), but it gave you an idea of the various activities onboard.

We went to dinner right after. We were in Animator's Palate tonight. We got pictures made beforehand on a white backdrop.
Ean and I in a port hole before dinner.
Ean and Eric dancing to the piano music in the lobby as we waited for Mommy and Daddy to get down before we got in line for pictures.
At Animator's Palate we met our servers- Ameet, our server, Jerry, our assistant server, and Fitz, the head server for our table section.
Dinners on the cruise are simply amazing. It's like a fine dining occasion every single night! Tonight the menu was the Animator's Palate Pacific Rim Cuisine menu.
Here's the menu. It was kind of dark so the picture isn't the best.

For my starter I had the Wild Mushroom Risotto and Porcini Twist. My soup/salad was the Creamy Butternut Squash Soup. For my entree, I had the Black Bean Chipotle Cakes. My dessert was the Cookies and Cream Sundae. Everything was excellent.
Ean had the Sesame-Flavored Rock Shrimp and Caramelized Onion Cheesecake as a starter (VERY good!!!), the Baked Potato and Cheddar Cheese Soup for his soup/salad course, and the Lemon-Thyme Marinated All Natural Chicken Breast as his entree. For dessert, he had the Sweet Temptations dish with samplings of Crunchy Walnut Cake, Pineapple Financier, and Lemon Mousse.
After dinner we headed over to The Tube, a London-themed adult lounge, where they were playing Match Your Mate. They had three couples up on stage playing the game, a newlywed couple, one who had been married about 20 years, and then an older couple who has been married 40+ years. It was so cute and hilarious to watch! It was sooo crowded in there, and we got there as early as we could! The Tube is beautiful. It has wonderful decor.
Our first day on the cruise was absolutely amazing!
Our housekeeper, Ronald, left us a Stingray the first night!
He left Ean and Eric a swan!
